"Hotel at a very convenient location, next to bus terminal (RMB5 to HSR station or RMB15 to Yangshuo) and the Xingping old town is after the bus terminal. Very clean and pretty hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms that river facing can see pretty sunrise too! The breakfast corner is a bit small. Some dishes without signages. We also wish to have more food choices. "This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The pool is only in use over the summer months. A great place to get away from the noise for a couple of nights. Bi far away from Yangzhou activities. "

"Beautifully appointed rooms with high windows, A/C, comfortable beds, and a fantastic English speaking host, Demi. We loved the “Western Breakfast” b/c after 2 weeks of continuous Chinese food we were really craving a break. Eggs, waffle, juice, coffee really hit the spot. "We really enjoyed our stay at Yangshuo Village Inn. The staff were super friendly and helpful and they took the time to give us helpful tips about things to do and to chat with my wife’s parents. "Yangshuo City has become a big tourist hub (mainly Chinese tourists). The Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is a short taxi (electric scooter ride) to Yangshuo and the surrounding attractions, but sits on a quiet bend of the picturesque Yulong river (almost rivals the Li River Karst tower area in beauty and is a lot less busy). "Lovely stay. Only stayed here for one short night but wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful charming place in an old restored building. Nice area along the Yulong river.
