"I didn’t think the hotel was particularly clean and it was very dated. My bed had a cloth headboard and it had a stain on it. That is unacceptable for reasons I don’t even have to explain. The desk clerk did the absolute minimum to greet us and answer our questions. That’s fine I guess but the last few hotels I stayed in had wonderful staff so it was a bit of a downer. It was a great location and economically priced so I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t stay there again."

"A hotel with many limitations. I stayed here for a business trip for two nights that coincided with a national holiday and storm Ciaran. Not a great combination to be away for work. The check in was quick and efficient and was informed the restaurant would be closed the next night (I presumed for the holiday). I booked dinner to that night as advised booking recommended. "Close to the N165 at Quimper, so easy to find and reach from the motorway - very convenient. A bit out of town but only a 5 minute drive to reach the centre. Room was comfortable although perhaps a little basic. Our main regret was there was no kettle, as we were gasping for a cuppa after a long journey! However, it was clean and tidy so no real complaints. Bed very comfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good English so communication was easy. "

"Very nice setting in front of marina and close to restaurants, galleries etc in beautiful village of Pont-Aven. Rooms a bit small. Would be nice to have some parking spots set aside for hotel guests. But in general we were happy with the stay and would recommend Pont-Aven. "
