"Hospitality is excellent and location is perfect. Management is very responsive and staff hospitable. However there is a disconnect on the online booking regarding already paid breakfast option which doesn’t reflect on the hotel account which can be an irritant. Also the food could be improved upon. Otherwise excluding online booking confusion and a little improvement in the food this place deserves a 5 star. "

"We had a great stay at the Summit Alpine. Our room was big and spacious and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was amazing, especially Ronimit and Pema! They helped us out tremendously. We can’t wait to return. "

"The views from our room were simply beautiful. Able to see Kanchenjunga range. The service by the staff from reception to housekeeping to restaurant is excellent. Each and every was very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms are outdated and need an update. Location is very good. Few min walk to MG marg the most happening place . "The view from the rooms is exceptional. Being able to lay on bed and see the Himalayan Mountain range was the highlight. Staff were extremely helpful anf friendly. Thank-you we really enjoyed our stay and were fortinate to see the snow capped peaks most days."

"Filthy rooms badly in need of updating (see photo of tub). Leaky faucets. Wifi was patchy at best. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Completely not worth the money and quite a ways away from Central Gangtok. Nothing within the resort to stay in and enjoy either. We will not be returning - and recommend you please stay away. There are plenty of other options in Gangtok for this high a price"

"Fantastic hotel in Gandhi Road. Close to Darjeeling mall, great rooms and wonderful service from the staff. The breakfast has a lot of options and all the food items are very well made. The Kanchenjunga view rooms don't let you down either. Overall, 10/10 and must recommend. "

Great hotel in not so great Pelling

"Very good hotel, the rooms are beautiful, and the view over the mountains are incredible. Beds are comfy, the bathroom is good and there is a nice breakfast. Location is not the most convenient, it's along the main road in middle Pelling, the restaurants tend to be more in upper Pelling although all hotels have their own restaurants. Then again Pelling is basically just a long road on the flank of the mountain with only hotels along the road. Not much to the place apart from the views of the mountains (so consider not spending too much time there and instead making you way to more pleasant little towns of Sikkim)"
