"Liked the location of hotel - very central, everything accessible by foot. Even the towels and linens a bit outdated - the room, equipment and public areas in decent condition. Comfortable matresses, great sleep. Second floor rooms just around cafeteria where tasty coffee and breakfast served. "Very central hotel, friendly staff, very quiet room even though it was overlooking a main road. Room was slightly dated but functional. Although we booked a double room it was 2 single beds pushed together, which wasn't the most comfortable sleeping experience. Only discovered the minibar on the 2nd night as it was well hidden. No kettle or tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast would have been an extra €18 pp per day so we didn't bother with that. "

"Charming place. Authentic European experience. No frills (no coffee machine or shampoo, etc) but good clean room in a classic old building 😁 don’t think there was AC; it got a bit warm but was ok. "The picture posted on Expedia of the outside of the building was not the same as the building itself. The pictures of the bathroom on the website are only from the bigger rooms so when we checked in there was only a small square shower. The staff was amazing went out of their way to make my stay there much better. "

"All in all a good place to stay. A quirky policy of requiring a 10 euro security deposit to borrow their umbrella. It seems to me that they should let you borrow it and and charge the fee if you fail to return the umbrella or damage it somehow the staff was friendly and willing to help"

"The hotel is in a great location and the car park is close by. The lady on the desk when we checked in we think was the owner. She was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was a typical German wooden panelled room which was delightful the staff made us feel welcome and the breakfast was excellent. "

"I stayed five nights and would book again. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. "Our family of four stayed in the family suite that had a king bed and sofa in main area, and then a side bedroom with two twins. It was a great bed arrangement for our family. "This property is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous vistas all around. Everything was very clean, the people were friendly, and the restaurant was delicious. We were not happy with our room however. "Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!"
