"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."

We booked a family room with a queen bed to sleep 4.When I made the reservation I made it quite clear it was for 3 adults and the booking was accepted. "We tried to book 3 doubles and a twin, I received an email stating to accommodate a twin I would need to update to a superior room at an addition cost, which I reluctantly agreed. However when we arrived at hotel, I was informed they never received my reply and didn't have the upgrade available. The hotel itself was split, those rooms near the pool area, which were modern and looked very stylish, and the other rooms in the main building, which were very dated and in need of a good sprucing...
