"Beacon Inn is very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Sydney and the wharf. The building is attractive and has character. Room included a fireplace, 4-poster bed and oversized tub. Only suggestion is that the breakfast included be served in the very nice downstairs sitting room rather than in room. Adding a European style coffee machine would be amazing too. "

I would suggest two things that are easy to attain for future improvement—not complaining. a) Please watch for animal/pet/farm animal hair in food. We ate all the food but picked out some hair :) Perhaps a better vacuum or pets to be separated from the cooking area. b) I think the faucet upgrade on both...

"Excellent Stay! The view is amazing! The suite is also very very nice - the pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommended. I stayed at the Days Inn 1 day prior however this place is a much better place to spend your time and and $$$. The owner is also very pleasant and made the experience even better."
