"This place is a basic bungalow and for the price you can get something similar for much cheaper. In the middle of the night, a rat crawled across the floor and startled my girlfriend a lot. In the morning, we packed and I booked a hotel somewhere else at 4 am. We couldn’t stay here because we found it very dirty and not worth the price at all. It was very grimy and not even inexpensive for the location. I’d recommend staying somewhere else for the price or less. "

"Not too exciting, there was no one at reception or to help with the luggage when we arrive. Staff not too excited to serve guests. Our driver and guide had issues with their accommodation, they were asked to pay for that. Nothing much to see in surrounding as well. "

"A charming period building with some really good features and unusual rooms! Prepare to get VERY cold and feel VERY damp during your stay, it’s really OVER priced, NO heaters available and staff offer a backpackers feel and not at all $100 feel, a fire was lit downstairs but it attracted all the staff to sit around it and some people from outside that left us not able to even see the fire....I had to ask them to move to get a little heat while we ate...not worth the money, but the building is...

"We stayed for 2 nights and welcomed 2020 here and we couldn't have picked a better place to be. Ram was our guide and he also ensured that our stay was comfortable and took care of any requests we had. We were the only guests for the two nights as it is low season during winter time but we cannot recommend a better time to visit Nepal in general. All the other staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the other guides were also super friendly and chatty and happy to share...

"Our Stay at the Jungle Sunset Camp was a real good surprise! The Hotel is on the river, very quiet, but still walking distance to the main street of Sauraha (not so big). The room is quite nice, spacious and clean. The bed is indeed slightly hard, but that's our preference, so we slept super well. There is hot water in the shower (not that common in Nepal). The real good surprise came from the staff, super friendly, and the food, remarkably good. Actually it's the best food we've had in...
