"Rooms are very basic and some can be a long way from stairs or lift. Service was better than the 5 star hotel next door where we went for a drink. Food was good value and better than expected for an airport. No iron in room. Dark furniture. Getting tired. If arriving late and departing early its perfect for the price."

The hotel is surrounded by the Nelson Mandela plaza and mall. You have access to many stores and food places. The bar/restaurant at the hotel offered some of the best meals and drinks. Must stay here. This hotel is great for family, couples and business. It was less than 30 minutes away from airport and 5 minute walking for everything else...

"No complaints at all. Wonderful staff. Wonderful dinner and breakfast options. Pay the extra for the breakfast!!! Rooms were a tad small. If I stayed again, id pay a little more for the option above the standard room. Self check in was decent because we arrived at the same time of a large sports team, so that was quicker. It was very quite at night. I felt safe at all times. Only a few mins walk to Mandela Square."

"The hotel stay was good, but at the lower end of good. The gentleman who checked us in presented as very indifferent. Within 30 min of checking in we noticed that bathroom sink/face basin was not draining. Complained about it to the same person who checked us in, he assured us that he will get maintenance to fix it and after 3 hrs or so it was not fixed. Went back downstairs and complained to another worker who gave us instructions on how to fix the issue, but we were unable to do it. He came...

"This stay was an addition to my previous stay off 30 days. I was extremely please with the service of all the areas in the hotel. The professionalism of the front desk staff, housekeeping, and dining room was excellent. I always felt the friendliest and dedication of all the staff. The entire facility was always clean and secure. I would certainly choose this location for all future visits to Johannesburg. "
