"Nice hotel. Great location to explore sudbury /have some lovely walks. Really comfy bed. Shower a bit lacklustre and missing a piece that hid the glue etc but for the price i was happy. Bar has amazing fireplace and the mill wheel. Well worth a visit Breakfast wise you get when you pay for"

"Nice little place, food is decent and served quickly. Would have preferred the gym to be open before 6.30 so i could use prior to work but if that's your biggest gripe the place is doing well! "

"My tiny room was sufficient and quiet,of human noise anyway.The restfulness of my stay was however ruined by some sort of generator or extractor that hummed like an aeroplane on and off night and day outside. Duvet only just warm enough and I am not a fussy person. Place a bit soulless and staff therefore a bit disengaged. It’s an interesting formula for low cost accommodation but needs tweaking back a bit from being quite so basic and functional."

"Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere in the bar. The curtains in the room we stayed in let a lot of light in, they really need blackout linings. The Eggs benedict my wife had for breakfast was not nice, eggs were overcooked and the bacon was not great."

"A good stay. Only downside was gap in the bedroom window which you could put your hand through leading to excess traffic noise which was disappointing."
