"Hotel was fine. Comfy beds decor was a bit stark. Rented a suite with a kitchen but it had no plates or silverware or anything. Staff was very kind and helpful. "

The service agent lied to us that the hotel was fully booked (I could have reserved 10 rooms on Expedia that minute) and did not even look at our request. The room was dirty so was the washroom. Clearly they want to be an upscale resort but are really not."

"Hotel Carlia provided us a comfortable stay for our one night in Uddevalla. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains conveniently shielded us from any of the light during midsummer. The room was clean, though a bit outdated in the bathroom. Plenty of space throughout. It would have been nice to have more climate control as it felt rather hot and humid in the room.
