"The hotel was more like multiple cabins but spacious. No hot water for the shower or washclothes. No phone in the room. Most of the outlets didn't work.The air conditioner leaked a big puddle in the room. Behind the bed wasn't clean, bugs and little lizard. Outside was very nice the pool was perfect for family fun. "

"The property is unbelievable! This is in an excellent location, very convenient for exploring Tikal. The lake side set up is beautiful with a dock and lounge area. They also provide boating transportation, kayaks, life jackets, basically anything you can need for the lake. There’s even a handicapped accessible elevator that can take you down to the lake if you have issues with steep steps. The pool side was awesome equipped with umbrellas and loungers. The restaurant served excellent food....

"We stayed at Hotel Villa del Lago because the hotel we usually stay at in Flores was full. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, provided a free breakfast and airport transport, and the staff were friendly and accommodating helping us plan a Tikal visit for one of our colleagues.
