"A nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Located in a quiet village. The bathroom facilities in the room I was in (No3), was a little bijou and compact, though it did the job. Good wifi connection. Limited on site free parking in a very tight courtyard."

"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."

"A stale kitchen smell hung around the reception and permeated the building. No lights were on and it was like entering a dark cave. I normally like quaint old hotels but this was just down at heel and dispiriting. The photographer must be very clever as the reality was dismal. The sauna was an extra 55 Euros so we didnt use it and didn't eat there as the stale smell was so unappetising. We would not have stayed except that we had booked and paid in advance."

We booked a family room with a queen bed to sleep 4.When I made the reservation I made it quite clear it was for 3 adults and the booking was accepted. However, they brought in a cot (fold up bed) being the third bed which when my son sat on, collapsed. There were slats missing. When reported to reception was told it was for a child. "This is a very pleasant hotel where we have stayed before. However rooms are not large and bathrooms are on the small side. Service varies from very charming to quite sullen. The restaurant maintains a high standard with a diverse menu, although the selection does not vary much day by day."

"The food was adequate. The rose was warm. The bar closed the minute the guests left. Felt pushed out. Beautiful location and hotel when we found it. Rooms were good. However we felt it was more a good club than an hotel."
