"Fantastic weekend! Beautiful hotel with lovely attentive staff. We were thoroughly looked after all weekend. The communal rooms are so cosy and the sea view from the lounge and restaurant were stunning. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious and the drinks menu was wonderful. Loved the scottish gin menu. "Really enjoyed our stay here. It's right in the middle of the main shopping and dining area, and was the perfect location for us. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff is very helpful. They don't do breakfast, but give each guest a little goodie bag each morning. The pub downstairs is lively and fun, but not too loud."

"The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order."
