"The Hotel Golf Mar is dated it's true but it's also clean, peaceful & has multiple dining options. The ocean view rooms with balconies are great you can sit & watch the sunset & go to sleep listening to the sound of the sea against the rocks perfect. If you feel so inclined the spa services are fab I had a 30 minute detox facial & a 20 minute relaxing & stress releasing neck,shoulder & back massage I highly recommend them both. The staff are amazing almost all the staff members I came into...

"We had a lovely stay. The hotel was nice with lovely common areas and rooms were large. Good location if you’re planning on surfing and going to the beach. Going into the city is a long (30 min) walk or short drive. Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had a nice spread. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you come in a car so you can drive around Peniche because there’s some absolutely stunning views off the cliffs."

"Great location, right across from the water for sunset views (over the cliffs). There is no laundry service or restaurant (as indicated online), there is a bar for buying drinks with a small (5-6 item) food menu they can hear in the microwave. The pool is nice but closed at 7 and we were not able to use it. The room had a lovely balcony, in September the mosquitos were out. The bed was ok, the water pressure was awesome. A little too awesome, keep your eyes on the shower head while using....

"Last minute booking in Obidos - a quaint walled town. Pleased to have been able to stay within the walls and miss most tourists at the end and beginning of the day.
