"We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Our room was fairly basic but gave what was required but we did have to report a running toilet and the room got very hot due to heatwave and lack of any air con. Balcony was an added bonus. "

"What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. "Beautiful views and pleasant staff. The decor is a little older and could use some renovation. But the staff was abundantly friendly and helpful. The food was average for a half board (hit and miss depending on the cook), and there is no place for lunch (have to go into the village). And will only sell drinks for dinner (no tap water provided) However, the hotel has succeeded in having the absolute worst cup of coffee in the world for the breakfast. It puts K-cups to shame. "Second time we have stayed at Boka Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Owner took time to talk and take photos. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The hotel sits in a beautiful location with hiking trails close by. Will stay here again and would encourage others to do so. You won’t be disappointed. "

"We arrived late at night to the hotel, reception was closed but the owner had left an envelope with everything we needed for our stay with a warm handwritten note (including instructions to get a beer from the fridge!) The room was clean and spacious, the property well maintained, and breakfast next morning delicious. Would definitely stay here again!"

Beautiful hotel

"Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future."

Area is gorgeous, but the accommodation is poor

"The apartment has poor accommodation, meaning the whole furniture is old and the impression is of an old place, no recondition was done, is like you live in the ‘80. The walls are dirty and the kitchen area is almost missing (extremely small and did not look very clean).The area is spectacular but all the apartment need to be refurnished or just change the pictures on the site (they do not look at all like in the advertisements) and adjust the price of the room, probably you pay the area and not the room itself."
