"We stayed at Villa Sece for one night, together with another couple, in early October while visiting Agrigento. The two rooms were nicely decorated, super cute and clean. Our check-in was easy and the hosts are lovely. They helped us determine where to go for dinner and their suggestion was superb! And their breakfast the following morning was absolutely amazing - the baked goods were very tasty and they were happy to do extra to accommodate dietary restrictions. Would love to go back."

"There are no problems with the bedroom, the property owner, or the management. (Do call or text with your exact arrival hour, though.) The biggest issue you may have with this place is reaching it with your suitcase wheels intact, because you are going into the old part of Agrigento and depending on your approach angle, you may be dealing with seemingly-endless bumpy walkways, staircases, and roads which allow one car at a time. "The property itself is nice… a 17th century house with all the modern conveniences of an elevator, AC, and new en suite bathrooms. Squeaky clean. Tasty restaurant attached. The only downside is this place is surrounded by cinderblock apartments, so the views are not as atmospheric as the hotel itself. We kept our windows closed for the most part, and did not enjoy the balcony. We did enjoy the sounds of children from the elementary school next door. It’s not quiet, but it’s happy."
