"We had to change our plans due to the strike of public transportation on the day we were supposed to travel and needed to stay an extra night in Cortona. We were fortunate to find this hotel on short notice and the staff was very accommodating. We were allowed to check into the room in the morning. Breakfast the next day was delicious. Friendly staff! Definitely recommend this hotel! "

"This is an incredible place. Lorenzo and Stefano are incredible hosts. This is a historical place, as it used to be the summer house of the Piccolomini Family, which had 2 popes, Pius II and III.
