"Staff were really helpful at the hotel and available when I checked in late after a work trip. There were quite a lot of stains on my carpet which was off putting and no water in the room, which feels like standard practice. The room was fit for purchase for a night stay but I wouldn’t have stayed there for longer as it was a small room."

"A nice hotel, about 25 min walk (or bus ride) from the city centre. Rooms were comfortable, the double bed was quite small but fine for one person. Breakfast was good value with a range of hot and cold options. Parking was available (for an extra fee) but it was a good base for a weekend away."

"Basic and functional room for an overnight stay. The hotel was located in Beaconsfield services which has plenty of parking and a great range of food choices. The hotel is a good choice for those who just need a bed for the night. Hotel was clean and the area felt safe."

"Outstanding location for a quiet stay. Very good food and service. If you want to stay the rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished. Super bathroom with walkin shower. Excellent parking facilities."

"The bedroom and shower room were comfortable and clean. The carpet looked new; the mattress was just right, the room temperature too. The blackout curtains were helpful to sleep in the morning and I didn't find the road too noisy. The instructions for wifi, drinking water, checkout etc were clear."

"Great value, in lovely surroundings. Rooms are bright and very clean. Fabulous shower. Plenty of secure parking. Breakfast good selection and good quality. Evening meals really good value for the price. Staff are helpful and friendly. All in all excellent value for the price "

"We used this hotel while walking the nearby Kennet & Avon Canal path. Friendly welcome. The room was spacious; the bed amazingly comfortable. Despite facing a main road, there was no road noise whatsoever due to the efficient triple glazing. A fridge would have been handy, but not a biggie. Room and bathroom very clean. Evening dinner and breakfast very good - tasty and fairly priced. Overall excellent value and would happily recommend and would use again if in the area."
