"Two things I didn't like were the fact that I arrived by train and they no longer transport you from the arrival platform to the hotel. THis could be a real problem in winter! Secondly, the dinner menu was very limited to what it was on my last visit and no real breakfast or lunch menu."

Glacier Guides Lodge
3.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (246)
"The property is very close to Glacier National Park entrance and the most expensive in that area. I stayed in 4 different properties around that area, and this was the most expensive. They have coffee and microwave available all day in the lobby. The room is basic for the price compared to other properties but convenient. Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. You can borrow a bear spry for free. Hotel is located in a cell phone dead zone, so we had to use a very slow Wi-Fi that was...

Glacier Park Lodge
3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (314)
"Be prepared for no elevator and tipping a bellhop to carry your luggage up the stairs. No modern conveniences in the room and WiFi was spotty. NO TV. Two beds, a desk and two chairs. No air conditioning but a fan was provided. Only six hangers in the closet. People over six feet will have to bend over to take a shower. Windows too high for a 5' 5" person to see out of. Public spaces classy but what you would expect for a 110 year old lodge. Two nice but expensive restaurants and the ambience was...

Under Canvas Glacier
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (177)
"We really enjoyed our stay at Under Canvas. The staff and service were exceptional. We loved our large tent with ensuite bathroom. Everything for our wood burning stove was all ready to go, and we were thankful because it was very chilly and damp outside. Inside we were very comfortable, and loved the ambience the small fire afforded. The breakfast items we ordered were all delicious. A special note of thanks to Marijke. She went above and beyond for our group and made this a very...

Paddle Ridge
3.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (604)
"What an amazing place to stay and so close to Glacier! We spent a few hours in Glacier and then drove minutes to our stay at Paddle Ridge. Check in was simple and our rooms were warm, and comfortable. I must admit that the lobby with its big fireplace, huge windows to enjoy the tremendous views, and tables for enjoying a late night snack or play a board game made the hotel much more cozy."
