The hotel was basic and our room was how we expected considering the price, but felt very dated and in need of renovation. Our shower was pretty poor and within a tiny bath so didn't have much space to move. "Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. "

"The hotel itself was a bit outdated, the elevator was very small, and the beds weren’t the most comfortable BUT that staff was really friendly which I appreciated. There’s a small market connected to the hotel which was convenient and as soon as you walk out of the hotel you’re at the beach and close to several restaurants. The hotel is located in bar road basically which we didn’t mind but if you don’t like noise then don’t stay here. "
