"Very handy and good value spot for a stopover on the way to or from Calais. Loads of great restaurants next door and many offer 10% discount if you show your room key card. A good free breakfast is included 6-10AM and nice enough (if a little dated) rooms for one night many with a bath. I had a big suite which was very spacious. Nice and warm in the room and very comfy beds and bedding. They look to be installing several fast EV charging points in the car park too which is great."

"You cant check in early because theyre closed from 11am to 5 pm. They email you a code to get in however the machine was broken. So we had to wait to get in until someone arrived which thankfully was early. The room was very bare and basic, like a college dorm room. Hard beds. 1 pillow and 1 towel only. Nothing extra. "Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. "My wife and I have been visiting Hotel St. Louis over a number of years and have never been dis-appointed. It is convenient to Channel Ferries and has safe parking.
