"The view from our room was undersold! Great view of the river. That said, there were sizable gaps around the doors, so it was a very good thing the group there was not noisy, or I could have had a grumpy tired hubby. There also seemed to be some kind of family reunion taking place in the common areas, so we felt a little awkward about being there for a lot of our stay."

"We stayed for one night with Darlene and Dave at their B&B. The room we had is both spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided is fantastic, including eggs from their chickens on the property. Darlene and Dave are fantastic hosts, super personable and absolutely made our stay memorable. We’d highly recommend considering your stay with them when in the area. "

Despite the property listing indicating that air conditioning was available, there was none when we arrived. "This is a beautiful homestead that has the feel of 1940's but the esthetics of a modern home. Perfection. The cows, chickens and ancient trees surrounding the property add to its charm. And the swings! The pictures on the website do not do it justice. This is a home well restored and loved. We plan to stay again and again and bring the family. "

"The bed was to soft, creaky sounding bed. Not comfortable. Everything else in the house was excellent. There was a dog next door that barked the entire first night. Nice deck. Comfy chairs. Fire pit was a big plus. Nice kitchen. Smart tv was great. Towels were lovely Clean and smelled good. Beautifully decorated. Stone Mountain is right up the road. Pet friendly was a big plus!"
