"Cheap, cheerful n clean. Ideal for a no frills stopover for a gig at The Halls, only 3 mins stroll away. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces @ £5 a night. Breakfast £7. You get what you pay for, still good value. Unlimited small buffet style. Scrambled eggs, tinned mushrooms, beans, tinned tomatoes, sausages, hash browns. No bacon. Bread for toast, croissants, cereals, jams, apple/orange juice, coffee machine, assorted teas. Stayed before, will stay again. Great value. :)"

"Great place for an overnight stop on a long journey, convenient for the motorway. Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is really good value and included in the very reasonable room price. A good selection of restaurants is just a short walk away. We'll be back again."

"All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was perfect for our needs. The room was presented very well and was very comfortable; lovely shower. Breakfast was good but had we been more prompt the servery would have been more fresh. The dining staff lady was very helpful. We had a perfect, albeit brief, stay."

"Room was quite tight for a family as we needed a travel cot for our 14month old. He couldn't share the double sofa bed. Also I think it was just about overpriced at the bar. £10 for a large wine...and not even a very special one was abit excessive."
