"My family and I had a nice stay at Mama shelter. It was a quick walk and even quicker tram ride from the Pfaffenthan-kirchberg train stop. The hotel workers were friendly and held our bags until we were able to check in. They gave us ideas about things to do in the area as well as some restaurants. "A perfect place to stay after a day of driving across Europe on route to your final destination. Quiet, well priced, clean, comfortable bed, lovely shower. While the town seems sparse, there’s a selection of supermarkets and restaurants as well as a Designer Outlet locally. This is not a holiday destination but when you need a good rest after a long drive it’s exactly what you need. "

"There was a problem at the entrance to the property when the gate was not working. And there was no hot water on the first full day of my stay. Once these problems were fixed, my stay was pleasant, with a good view. "

"Don't use a Map app to find this place. You'll end up (like me) walking a circular route only to end up pretty much where you started. Just come out of the airport, turn left, and it's 100m on your left. This hotel is very modern but tastefully decorated. The rooms have no wardrobes; you use hooks and clothes hangers on a wire mesh on the wall. I liked that idea. TV has lots of channels including bbc1, and you can cast apps from your phone to the TV. A big plus for this hotel is the frequent bus...

"We used this hotel for a stop over whilst travelling back to the UK. Usual Ibis hotel but with a larger bathroom than the normal pod type. Check in and out was straightforward and staff were pleasant. We ate in the restaurant and the chateaubriand was very good indeed, cooked a point and served with frites and a garnish of broccoli and mushrooms. We'd use this hotel again."
