"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."

"Auf einer Reise von Bulgarien nach Deutschland hatten wir aufgrund des ausgebuchten IBIS Hotels diese Unterkunft gewählt. Ein schönes, einfaches Hotel. Sehr verärgert hat uns, dass wir am Morgen der Abreise erfahren mussten, dass der Parkplatz 10 Euro kostet. Nicht wegen der Gebühr, diese zahlt man woanders auch z. B. für eine Tiefgarage, aber bei der Ankunft einem den Parkplatz zu geben mit einem Zettel für das Auto ohne die Kosten zu erwähnen, ist für mich Abzocke. So etwas macht man...

"Although the property is older, it is definitely well taken care of. Close to the older part of town and less than a ten minute walk from the train station you can't go wrong staying here. I will say it was one of the smallest beds I've ever slept on. One other cool note, the Pope stayed here once! "

"This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. "Residential area, quiet. Staff were great, room well equipped. Only a few minutes from public transport and the city centre. Generally had a slightly worn look - furniture, etc but ok. Fridge in room was very noisy 24/7 and the air-con didn't work effectively - in need of a service perhaps? Breakfast was very basic, eggs cold (cooked for 7am?), if there was any left. I was ok with the stay especially with the very helpful and friendly staff."

"Two separate one nights stays, August 2017. Both bookings were for a family suite. For the second night we were asked if we could split and use two double rooms instead, which was not a problem for us. Rooms are very well furnished and comfortable. The summer heat made the rooms hot but not unbearable. Location is on a nice quite road a steady 10 minute walk from the centre of Gyor. "Pleasant surprise! Decoration and style are 10 out of 10. Price was very reasonable for the quality provided. My only issue was only one pillow was provided and with reception not manned 24/7 it was too late when I realised. Overall id place the stay as 9 out of 10. "
