"My mum and I had a lovely stay at Ardoe! Our room was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the drawing room; the bartender was brilliant. The only downside is that the swimming pool hosts so many lessons and also seems to attract a lot of local families, so we didn't have many opportunities to use the pool. Breakfast was superb and the tiny waitress from Thailand who was there was great, a wonderful personality. Only drawback was the lift was not working and they tried to put us on the 3td floor, my wife just cannot do that many stairs so I asked for a room on a lower floor which ended up behind an upgrade at no extra cost.
