"Our stay was okay, the room was very cold and took a while to heat up and as we arrived late we would have appreciated an ambient temperature. We were in room 222 and there were blood stains beneath the shower on the floor? The breakfast was good. The leather seats in the lounge have seen better days there was a chuck of leather and foam stuffing out of one if them. The staff seemed nice."

"The Quorn Grange is a very good hotel but the staff are quite short handed. At breakfast there is just one staff member struggling on her own. In the evening, the bar is unattended for lengthy periods. "

"To be honest, the reception was great, the room generally clean and tidy, although the sheet on the double bed didn't fit and only just covered the top of the mattress. We had dinner in the bistro, as we had a dog with us. He was welcome to stay with us, but we could only eat in the bar area. This was fine as on a Friday evening there was hardly anyone in the bar area. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it."

"Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. We left at 6am because we couldn’t stand the cold."

"Such a great little gem. Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Loved the décor, it was wonderful, felt very comfortable and relaxed after the family funeral we had attended. Evening spent in the bar, Nigel (owner) was the perfect host and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast, wow what a great verity on offer. Scrambled eggs were done beautifully.
