"The staff on receptiin were so helpful , breakfast was amazing . Room was lovely and warm but needed decorating as the walls were a bit dirty and the head rest was ripped a bit . Lovely clean carpets though . My only issue was the lack of soundproofing . We were in room 7 and were kept awake till 4am due to the noisy people in room above as we could hear the slightest bang that they made."

We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. "Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."
