"The staff on reception were so friendly. The hotel was clean and modern inside. Bedrooms so warm with heat on. You can walk into Looe or drive down and park. Hotel has parking so that brilliant. The beach does f let dogs on there are any time which is a shame but they can walk along the path. Lots of cafes, pubs, eating places all dog friendly. Loved it there. "

"I booked at the last minute via Expedia and selected the breakfast option. Slightly cheaper than the "official" Greene King site. Fantastic greeting by staff - the checking in procedure was very slick. The room was clean (two single beds - I only needed one). Bathroom had recently been refurbished. "Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "
