"The room i was in was reasonably nice. Dated decor, but clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, however hardly spoke any English, so it was tricky getting checked in and out. Breakfast was poor. The sausages and eggs were cold (I did get a bit of an upset stomach on my third day, however not sure if this was because of the breakfast or something else I ate outside the hotel) and the bread was hard. "Wir waren anlässlich des Kristallmarathons hier. Da es am Wettkampftag früh los ging, hat das Hotel den Laufgästen ein frühes Frühstück angeboten. Nicht selbstverständlich und mega zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Essen im Hauseigenen Restaurant war auch sehr lecker und ist zu empfehlen. "

"Nice hotel, close to the former border - recommend to ask the boss about it - certainly an interesting conversation. They have also a nice Wellness area (Sauna), Food is very good (we took the local Cold plate for dinner). There is a room which can be locked for bycicles. Friendly staff ! Nearby are Castle Heldburg and nice bike Trails along the former border patrol ways. "

Alles in allem stimmte Preis/Leistung. Was die Hygiene betraf, eine kritische Anmerkung: nie sah ich in einem Hotel einen mit solch großen Flecken übersäten Teppich."
