"Awful service, no remotes in the rooms for the AC, or TV. Woke up with cockroaches on the table near my things. Had to ask about wifi, and had to ask to get cups and glasses for the room. They told us we didnt have have breakfast included, i had to prove to them that we paid for B &B. The toilets dont have seat covers, and the shower barely released any water. Is seems like a place theyve tried to make beautiful in the cheapest possible way."

The gentlemen at reception was helpful but the guesthouse is old and tatty, cold in winter, showers were terrible - 2 of our party only got cold water - breakfast best avoided, and cleanliness questionable. We would not stay there again. The only redeeming factor was that the bed was quite comfortable."

"It is perfect for a quick stop over, well priced and gives you what you need. I was satisfied, because I just needed a bed before I got going. Things were clean, but nothing was spectacular, which was not the point."

"Still early days with construction ongoing - we stayed only for the night so had no problem with it. No warm water for an early morning shower - perhaps because of solar heating, though nothing was explained. Breakfast was well prepared."

"The photos do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous. Matched by the most excellent service. Gert picked us up from the airport and upgraded us as a better room was available. Comfortable, large room. Quiet aircon. Lovely pool and internal courtyard to sit and read. All on a safe street in easy walking distance to nice restaurants. (I can't comment on the breakfast as we left too early to eat it.) Highly recommend! "

"The biggest negative was the air conditioning that just was not up to keeping the large room warm and thus my stay was very uncomfortable. The confusion over the confirmation after booking from the app was also annoying, I had to prove that I have paid for the stay beforehand. The location is really not ideal, however I guess you pay for what you get."
