"Very nice staff. Room was as shown in pictures. Clean and well kept up. Pool was nice, not a lot of space but wasn't ever a crowd. They provide filtered water for free which was awesome. Only downside was the elevator is up a couple flights of stairs"

"Friendly and helpful staff at reception and especially in restaurant. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good food in restaurant. Very close to lake and easy access to town especially temple and city museum. Slightly noisy due to busy road but even so we would still recommend. "

"The location is convenient and there are frequent buses to the nearby bus stop, so transportation is stress-free. The owner and staff speak English well and are very kind. They provided me with maps to show me many tourist spots and delicious restaurants, and assisted me in making my stay more fulfilling. "The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"Welcomed with open arms. View is spectacular Owner is friendly and wants to please Tuk Tuk driver is knowledgeable, a good driver and a gentle soul. Food opportunities in the area are available at the bigger hotels nearby but are not outstanding . I fact very ordinary. Better off to get Arjuth to take you down the hill. "My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. "Very nice room and overall hotel was extremely clean. Friendly staff and great level of service. My only negative (from a foreigner) would be the food - it was very average/below average, but affordable. They did upgrade our room free of charge when our hot water didn’t work and they were very kind and accommodating when I asked for late check out (we left very late and they didn’t charge any extra for it) they also helped arrange taxi rides at the front desk. "This place is amazing, the service was exceptional from arrival to departure, staff are very helpful and pleasant. We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. The food was excellent with good choices for both breakfast and dinner. I would truly recommend this bungalow if you are ever going to Kandy. "
