"This is a relatively inexpensive hotel so I don't expect lots of extras. It was relatively clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. There is no lift so if you have heavy luggage make sure your muscles are in good order. Grouting in the bathroom could use a bit of a scrub in places and as a personal preference I don't like showers over bathtubs as they are potentially dangerous. "The saving grace of the property was the young French lad who arrived in the morning. I don’t think it was even his day to work, but he came anyway. It is such a shame because the location was awesome. There’s so much potential here but the owner isn’t interested in bringing it up to standard. The room was okay, no bed bugs. But the rest of the place was dirty and woeful. They need to upgrade it to be worthy of customers. "

"The confirmation said that the reception would be open from 8 am to 10 pm. We arrived at 3 pm and no one was there. I followed instructions about self check in but was told electronically that the room was not ready. The telephone number did not work. I called Hotels and they contacted the proprietor who asked for my name an reprogrammed the computer check in. It did no fact work and we checked in . The balance of the service was excellent. "
