"Perfect venue for our requirements. Clean, tidy and very good value. However certain members of the hotel reception team could be more welcoming on arrival. Just got a stare as if to say what are you doing here. Doesn’t matter what level of hotel you stay at you should always make the guest feel welcome. That said I’d still com back "

"I decided, very last minute, to use a hotel as we were celebrating a friend's birthday nearby. I had been given a room on the top floor, but there wasn't a lift and I have a knee problem, so I was swiftly swapped to a ground floor room. The room was excellent value for money. Even though the hotel is only rated 3*, it had an iron and ironing board, tea and coffee, a TV, a safe, free wi-fi, laundry service, and a gorgeously comfortable bed. It was also a nicely quiet room with an excellent level...

"Great stay, very pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Secure well kept site, nice looking English Manor house property - lovely grounds. Secluded, peaceful, edge of village, a stone's throw from Bedford and only a mile off the A6. Would definitely recommend, and I'd stay there again (always the best review in my opinion!)"

"Good cheap hotel. A bit tired looking in places but clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, good WiFi, usual tea/coffee/ biscuits which were topped up every day, friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom with a walk in shower which I much prefer to a bath. The only issue for me was there was no desk/table to work at but laptops are called laptops for a reason! Room was cleaned and bed made up for me every day which a lot of hotels don’t do these days."

"Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again"
