"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"This hotel is one of my favourite ones anywhere. I first stayed there in 2007, then in 2008 and have been keenly awaiting the opportunity to return to see what it is like in 2024 with my wife. We weren't disappointed. The rooms have been nicely updated, the staff are equally welcoming and the hotel, which is situated perfectly at the main junction into the town centre has superb views and retains a tasteful ambience. We will be returning again if at all possible."

"Amazing, friendly and very helpful stuff. The manager Andrea was very helpful and pleasant. I traveled alone, and it was my first time in this area. He helps me with everything (shops, food, renting, entertainment, restaurants, busses and etc) Great location near the lift to ski or just to go around on the middle of the mountain and grab some drinks and food. "When we arrived, we were not greeted warmly, almost accusing us of not having a reservation. While we were searching, she took a phone call and said” ah yes ! Here you are!” There was no one else in the hotel- we arrived on our floor, the door was closed to the hallway we had to walk down. Lights would not turn on. The room was nothing more than a motel 6, but the view was spectacular. Went down to have a beer. Server was not friendly at all- said no English! Sadly he was our server for dinner....

"We arrived super late and staff were still welcoming and helpful :) However it was extremely hot and it was not possible to run the fan without the lights on as far as we could work out, which meant for a very hot and sleepless night. In cooler weather - no problem!"
