The room was a little surprising - bed were good - bathroom a little small. There was no water cooker to make a tea - no mugs to have a drink. "Really nice hotel and in a great location just 45 mins from Calais. The room was great and overlooked fields and had a really nice balcony. Dinner was great and the wine choices were good too. The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay"

"We visited for a quirky break while traveling from Disneyland to the UK. A family of for with a 5yo and 1yo, we staying in a room with bunkbeds. The beds were really comfortable with deep pillows. Simon welcomed us at 9pm after a 3 hour drive and took the time to show us to our room and explain the hotel and amenities. "Very poor, booked on the basis of 8 out of 10 rating but honestly not sure who posted these reviews. Booked a second night for the following week ( non refundable) and couldn't bring myself to return so booked a different hotel meaning more than double the cost. No water in the shower, no food and damp bedding. Service was poor and I was made to feel unwelcome. Stayed at the Ibis budget and felt like a rock star compared to this place. Avoid like the plague."
