"The hotel is for backpackers who usually stay at Hostel or 1 or 2 star hotels. This is not a hotel for business travelers - no desk. Plumbing issues - clogged drain in the sink. The room had a terrible odor - like there was some type of mold/flooding. The temperature control is limited to 22c. Toilet seats are strange. The common area is not really nice - also had a strange smell, and plastic bags of stuff strawn about behind the desk. The area is right in the middle of a busy market...

"The property was difficult to find, recommend you take advantage of the van service offered between the hotel and airport. The property is in an older section of the city, close to the airport, but once there the property is really very comfortable and the staff is very good. There are no elevators at the facility and the WIFI worked some of the time. The beds are very comfortable."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Unfortunately only one night. You barely notice the buzzing streets around - it’s in a central part of Kunming. We were able choose from 5 different breakfast options (western and Chinese). The only issue we had was finding the hotel. The location provided by Expedia is not 100% accurate. We found it by asking in the close by shops."
