"The convenience of a bar and restaurant was a good departure from other popular hotels in the area. The staff was very friendly, and the property appeared to be newer than it was. There was a large gathering area just off the lobby where our large group from all over the U.S. attending a family funeral could meet up. All-in-all, this experience prompts me to review my current hotel membership and seriously consider becoming a Holiday Inn member."

"The room was clean and updated including bathroom area. The provided toiletries were Dove including body lotion and liquid hand soap which is nice so you don’t have to wash your hands with one of the little bars of soap and get the counter all slimy. The biggest issue was the channel selection on the television. There were minimal channels and the TVs, two of them which were nice size, wouldn’t hook up to WiFi to cast from your phone. The WiFi was weak and jammed up as well. "

"Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access"
