"It was close to everything and confortable, but I didn't like there key light system, not very practical. Apart from that not bad for a short stay."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. The simple breakfast for 3.5 euros was ideal to get us going. The only problem was that we stayed on a Monday which meant that there were no restaurants open and we had to drive 5km down the road. We didn’t get to see Simancas. There is some road noise but it did not disturb our sleep.We will probably stay again if we have the same ferry timings."

"Good, no frills hotel at a decent price. Bed, bath, size all fine, clean. There is a good bar (and restaurant maybe) attached to the hotel that is popular with the locals and less touristy than most. Plenty of street parking. Just outside the main tourist area (3-5 mins walk to Alcazar). "

"We have stayed 4x here and it is very convenient to main road, dog friendly, easy parking. First experience good with tapas/ bar/ dinner. 2nd just had tapas in bar. 3rd - restaurant closed but dinner served in bar, post covid seemed staffing problems, very slow service. Arrived last night after very long drive. No food. Receptionist took pity on us and made a sandwich. It was Epiphany but it’s still a hotel so the basics should be available. "So, this hotel is beautiful, has gorgeously appointed rooms (got a glance at a suite - awesome), the people are really nice, and if you are looking for a rural retreat, this is THE place to be. There were two things that took a little of the shine off of our stay: 1) There were a bunch of flies. The lady at the front desk said that we could have asked for spray, but then we'd be smelling bug spray all night and 2) No WiFi. I can understand if they want to encourage separation from day-to-day...

"The room was spacious, but does not have a window. I felt like I am a prisoner. The hotel does not have emergency exit as well. In the case of fire, you are dead. The toilet does not flush after you flushed once. You have to wait more than 15 mins. You can't escape!"
