"An absolute surprise, a gem in the middle of nowhere it seemed, but in reality, close to many different towns, and things to do. I don't normally rate 5 stars, but from the excellent meet to leaving, the entire staff was perfect. A five star meal, cupped with 5 star service, can not praise this place enough. A must while in Sorrano. Thank you all for my stay. "

"We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything.
