"Pictures do not do it justice! This place is gorgeous! The paths and plants and the rustic beach with chairs and umbrellas! The condition of the rooms and lobby/breakfast area was stunning. We were very happy!"

La colazione è all'italiana, quindi dolce, ma su richiesta si puó avere anche affettati, formaggi e uova. Posso solo consigliare questa struttura. "

"This place looked like an old hotel that we probably bumped into this very year in a stepping-stone period towards its becoming a proper boutique hotel (perhaps I will go back next year to double check). As a matter of fact the reception was stunning but once you get in your room you have the feeling of having being trown in some kind of B&B that needs a lot of refurbishing asap. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"We went to Padula to trace my family's ancestry. We planned a two day trip to Padula and were treated to excellent hospitality and comfort at the Grand Hotel Certosa. The location is perfect nestled at the bottom ot the town near the Certosa. The restaurant is excellent too and the staff was very helpful in directing us, helping us with information etc. Highly recommended for a stay in Padula."

"Room and bathroom were clean; shower had good water pressure. Beds were very small and mattresses very firm. Housekeeping was adequate. Nobody at the hotel bothered to warn us that there would be music blasting all night long from a party in a banquet room that was located right by our room. "
