"This was a cheap option but perfectly adequate. Hotel is dated but our room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was trying to get the tv to work! There is no reception at the hotel. Fortunately door was open and someone was there to sort us out. We should have received a door code by email but never sent. But these are all relatively minor issues. This is a budget hotel and you get what you expect. We had tea and coffee supplies in the room as well as ensuite with toiletries."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts, Esther and Ian, both of whom when out of their way to welcome us and help us. We especially enjoyed walking from the B&B to Threave Castle and exploring the nature preserve. We were traveling without a car and had no problem getting to the property by bus."

"Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children."
