"The hotel was old and needed some repairs and upgrades. That being said, I expected some of that considering the age of the hotel and the location five blocks from the heart of the city. The breakfast and tea room was the most charming thing about the hotel. It was bright and very clean. The buttery croissants were especially good. The best I’ve tasted so far in France (Paris included). The staff were exceptional. "

"Inexpensive Motel in a quiet area. The walkway on 1st and 2nd floor is narrow and a service cart is permanently parked there, so you can't get through with a normal sized suitcase. Strong cooking fumes permeate the breakfast and reception area. Reception area closed after midnight. Sheets rough and rather worn. Manager not very service oriented. I told him I had extended my reservation on-line and he was adamant that that was impossible, I showed him the confirmation on my phone and rather than...

"The hotel is a good value for money. It was a little far from the centre of Town and some of the people who stayed were a bit dodgy but the hotel itself was v clean and the staff was v nice and accommodating "

"Staff was welcoming; breakfast buffet was satisfying and convenient although a little pricey. They provided bacon, which made it definitely worth it! Room was really clean and terrace was nice and opened up into a larger area. Old town was within walking distance, but raining a lot so didn't try it. Wifi solid and strong; very quiet. worth a visit!"

"The hotel was very close to the town center, very clean, with extremely friendly staff. The hotel also has a restaurant attached which was wonderful. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Even as two Americans who don’t speak any French, it felt as if we were visiting old friends. Highly recommend staying here"
