"A very friendly and well kept hotel with a fantastic kitchen and some lovely wines, as you might expect from a hotel in the Mosel. We dined in on 2 nights out of three and had very well prepared local food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. My only minor criticism is that their ability to deal with credit and debit cards was iffy. That said, we were able to settle our bill without having to resort to cash. "

"The studio was tired and old with cracked tiles, a chipped bath, a shower head that wouldn't stay put and even had a shower curtain. The studio wasn't expensive so expectations were not high, but we were also disapopointed that both rooms had double beds and not a double in one and two singles in the other which we had expected."

"Nice view, very nice place if the weather is OK, so tha you can make use of one of he many terasses, or the Biergarden. Food is excellent, room was very decent, nice balcony. All in all a very pleasant experience."

"We made a last minute reservation, looking forward to staying along the Mosel River, and were thoroughly pleased with this inexpensive, charming hotel. Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable.
