"Avoid this hotel! This hotel is terribly dirty. We arrived and left immediately because the room was in very bad conditions (dirty, some bugs on sofa, blood on sofa, like in a camp...terrible). We stayed in the hotel 5 minutes and had to leave...the hotel did not return our money back. It was still worth it to leave even without the money being returned. Once again, the worst hotel I have been to. AVOID IT!!!"

There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. Our rooms were up steps and included a full kitchen, private covered patio, and garden. Bol is a delightful mix of local activity (fishing, wine and olive oil making, historic sites, small grocery stores, friends...

"We unfortunately only stayed here one night and wish we had planned for a longer stay. This Villa is just beautiful. We traveled with our two small children, ages 3 and 22 months. It was nice to have the kitchen for doing breakfast in our apartment, though we did not cook dinner. We enjoyed having the bedroom with the terrace and two pull out sofas. "We had a great trip. The accommodation was ideal for a family of 4. Clean and modern. The pool is small but there are so many beaches nearby we didn't use it much anyway. Mountain bikes were much used by our kids (10 and 13) to cycle every evening around the port. "

"The basic of basic stays. Nice bedrooms with a nice patio but practically no utensils to use in the kitchen, and no washing machine for laundry. Nicely decorated but I look for function over looks. Also on top of a steep hill so you’ll have some pretty stellar calves by the end of your stay. "
