"I stayed 2 nights on business. All the staff were super helpful, very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable but could perhaps do with some upgrading. It would have been good if the hotel sold cold drinks as I had to go out after finishing work at c 21:00 and Villeurbanne did not feel terribly safe."

"Lovely clean hotel, very friendly staff who spoke perfect English when my French fell slightly short! Very short walking distance to the Groupama Stadium which was the purpose of my short visit. A few restaurants nearby and a large supermarket 5 minutes walk up the road. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The staff were very friendly, with the receptionist ( cant remember her name, dark hair and Tattoos) very helpful and great English. Im sorry my french is not better. But....the evening meal was amazing...the Chef is so talented. If you stay for a night or two have the Buffet....sooo tasty"

"Very hospitable - went to wrong Ibis (there are 5 within spitting distance of each other and have a map for people like us). Our Ibis was in a tall building, overlooked the train station (may not be to everyone’s taste), they gave us a goodie bag on arrival and had the largest room we encountered on our trip, along with coffee in the room. Grateful for the hospitality."

"The room was really hot so couldn’t sleep. The beds were made up singles but pushed together like a double, we wanted a twin. On arrival we had to change rooms as the first room they gave us had a baby cot. One of the lifts stopped working and there was no evening food available and no shops near by. I wouldn’t stay there again as I didn’t feel like I slept at all!"

"Stayed 2 nights. Close to the train station and a short ride to old town. AC didn’t seem to work very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood seemed a little iffy but had no problems"

"The location was perfect (old city, walking distance from all tourist spots, plenty of restaurants near by), the room was big, and the staff super friendly However, the property felt a bit old, with stains in the carpet, and old-looking bathroom "
