"I needed a last minute stay whilst on a motorcycle tour through Europe. I turned up as the kitchen was closing and the manager asked the chef if he would stay on to cook me a meal. I’m not fussy and let the chef cook what he had on hand, a selection of local cured meats, foie gras and crusty bread for an appetiser and an amazing dish of chicken, mushrooms and a white wine sauce. Truly a stay to remember if only for one night. "

"We stayed here with our 3 children (aged 9, 6 and 1) for one night on our way to our holiday in Italy. The hotel is attractive with high ceilings and wooden beams. "The hotel is looking tired and in need of some care. It is positioned on a busy road which is particularly noisy from 6.00am onwards and again in the evening.
