Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast. "Great weekend in the old farmhouse (built in 1760). Quiet and relaxing with everything you need - just bring food, the rest is there. House was spotless and stocked with everything you need from crockery and cutlery to pots and pans, firewood, braai grid, fire lighters and even matches. TV with full DSTV channels was a bonus to watch the rugby. It has 2 separate bedrooms each with a bathroom and can sleep 9 people. Highly recommended. "

"Lovely people and charming place. Could help self to vegetables in the garden or even the eggs from the chickens for breakfast which was a hit with the kids. Only drawback was that it was a bit of a squash, we should have booked a third room. The rooms are called “two bedroom” but they are actually one bedroom suites with a single sofa bed in the living room so not really suitable for three adults. This is in the small print of the room description so our fault for not reading closely but I...

"A great stop-off on the way to the Garden Route from Cape Town. Simple, clean rooms with all required facilities. One of the best restaurants, (maybe the best) of our trip around South Africa. Be sure to book a table at the restaurant when you book your room as the restaurant gets full. "
