"Perfect for a relaxing all-inclusive short break. We were there in October and the pool areas, which are lovely, were still busy. There is access to the sea though the beach itself is quite stony. The buffet food at the resort is good quality and provided enough variety during the three days we were there that we didn't feel the need to book one of the a la carte restaurants. The hotel offers a bus trip to Cefalu and the town is most definitely worth visiting - you will ant to spend longer...

"This hotel was set right on the water with a private beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. Our room was very large, and all the rooms have their own balcony. The hotel is very quiet because nobody is above or below you in another room. It's so easy to drive into Cefalu and park, and the hotel has its own parking lot. The breakfast was fine, rather basic, but overall, we loved the setting right on the ocean and would happily stay again. "

"I want to point out: there are no swimming pool nor hot tub. It was important for me. On another hand, the location is perfect. Short walk from the train station. Mostly, flat. Big grocery store within 600 metras. You can have your breakfast on a terrace, looking on a blue water of the sea. Breakfast very fulfilling. "

"Absolutely gorgeous boutique property, perfect for R&R, lounging by the pool and indulging in the inventive tasting menu (a high point during our trip!). Fantastic pool and bar area with fast and friendly service. Charming Cefalu is a shuttle ride away and we appreciated not having to drive ourselves into the town. "Charming old school euro hotel. Service was outstanding. Staff courteous and friendly. We loved the location and hotel that we booked in an extra night. Cefalu is a great place to visit in Sicily. We stayed 6 days. Never got tired of walking to every meal and just enjoying the atmosphere. Hike to the Castle and Greek temple by just walking from the hotel. A truly great experience. "We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it. "

Peaceful escape with beautiful views

"It’s a great place to stay ~7 mins from the Cefalu city centre. It is up on the hills which involves a bit of bumpy road, but once you get there the view of the city centre is very beautiful. The owner looks after the place well, including new swimming pool and more rooms. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool as the weather was too cold for us, but would love to come back later for it. The room was nice and clean with patio for enjoying the view and some sun shines. The stone/marble floor in the room meant the room was chilled, which would be good for the summer. Given the weather was still cold of us, we would have liked some slippers for it. There is a heater inside the room but the control is limited. We found the room to be too cold at night, so had to contact the owner to raise the temperature of the room for us. He was quick to respond and we slept well in the end, but it would have been nice to do it ourselves. The breakfast was simple and fresh, with bread, fruits, cheese and ham. The lady who was there to make and serve food was nice. Really quiet and peaceful place to stay. The food recommendations and tips on Cefalu from the owner was really helpful. Thanks to him, we managed to eat some of the best food we had in Sicily in Cefalu. We look forward to going back again in the future. "
