"I booked a one night stay in a bungalow with my two kids and aimed to arrive around 8:30 on a winters night. Unfortunately then my troubles began. Google maps and the Expedia confirmation email lists a location for this place which is about 4km away and it completely threw me. I eventually learnt from a hotel receptionist that I had been misdirected and was told where to go. "Fascinating concept - i.e. staying in a cave - but the cave space wasn't much different from a country cottage once furnished with old furniture, lighting etc. Our living room was adequate, but the bathroom shower cubicle was in bbad condition. The bedroom (deeper into the cave) was delightful to look at, but the mattress and pillows were hard. Perhaps this place would be a lot better at the start of the season?"

"Humble Spanish style hotel. Small clean rooms. Shower very small, not for heavy set or tall individuals. Long Check In process done at adjacent restaurant. Dead town at night."

"Great walking from the hotel but first got a map from Cambil tourist office. Friendly and fun staff. We could see they did weddings and events probably at weekends so for us we avoided a busy time."

"Great experience staying in a ‘cave’ house. Very clean and cosy. Beautiful setting. The owners weren’t on site much (but can be phoned and respond quickly) so as long as you’re fairly self sufficient its not a problem. Best to bring your own food. Really looking forward to our arab bath booking but the hotel cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, which was a shame. Definitely need own transport. Overall a great experience. "

"A very spacious apartment built in to the hillside with nice grounds and views over the Sierra Nevada. Our host, Manuel was very helpful and passionate about the local area and treated us to a guided tour,as well as bringing us fresh churros for breakfast. Our overall experience was superb. "
